HELPING YOU GET AROUND

The City of Tecumseh /Johnson County Public Transit system serves the general public, including persons with disabilities, in all of Johnson county on a demand-responsive, portal-to-portal basis. We have one bus, lift-equipped. On the first Monday of the month, the bus goes to Beatrice. On the second Monday of the month, the bus goes to Nebraska city. On the third Monday of the month, the bus goes to Lincoln. The bus remains in Tecumseh and Johnson County the fourth Monday of the month. Vesta and Crab Orchard trips are Tuesday afternoons. Elk Creek and Cook trips are Wednesday afternoons. Sterling trips are Thursday afternoons. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings and Friday all day, are local Tecumseh appointments.

Hours: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - Noon and 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Later if needed.

Rate Schedule:
Elderly, Disabled and General Public
  •     $1.00 per ride one-way for City
  •     $2.00 per ride one-way for County
  •     $15.00 per ride to Lincoln, Beatrice, Nebraska City or Lincoln
Number of Vehicles:
  • 12 passenger bus, lift equipped
