Special Message from the Village of Sterling Chairman of the Board, John Keizer
Picture
A special memo to notify everyone in Sterling of a special bulletin that has been put out by the CDC giving us the information we need to know about the Coronavirus (COVID19) that is spreading around our nation. Please read this bulletin in its entirety, it gives us all the necessary information about COVID19 and how it spreads and how to deal with it effectively. We have not experienced anyone in our community having COVID19 yet, so, please follow the recommendations to protect yourself and others around you:

1. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
2. Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick
3. Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands ( this one is difficult!)
4. Stay home if you are sick

Most of all my friends don’t let the fear and panic run your lives. Stay calm and do the things that will keep you healthy and help others to do the same. If we all do this we all will come through this in good shape.

Also, if anyone needs help like getting groceries or other needs please call the Senior Center between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm Monday through Friday at 402-866-2050 or the Village Office from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays at 402-866-4545. We will get someone to help you!
Thanks for staying safe,
John Keizer, Chairman
