If you would like to reserve the fire hall for a special event, please download and fill out the Sterling Fire Hall Agreement below.
The Sterling Fire Department is responsible for a variety of community emergencies, some of which include wildfires, structural fires, farm accidents and traffic accidents.
The department is currently made up of 18 members. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer fireman, please notify one of the board members below, or fill out the Contact form for the Village of Sterling and your request will be routed to the appropriate person. All applications must be reviewed and approved by the department. The Sterling Fire Hall is located on the southwest corner of Broadway and Main Street. Meetings are held the last Monday of the month and are open to the public, trainings are held the first Monday of the month. |

NOTE: The Village of Sterling Firehall now has a generator. In the case of a power outage, residents who need oxygen or other needs are welcome to use it. Please contact one of the board members below.
